Possibly the future of electric-vehicle batteries?
Check out this video from inside IBM’s battery lab – they’re working on the next-generation car battery using lithium-air technology.
Their goal is a battery that can power a car for about 500 miles between recharges. Pretty cool!
The video also gives a couple of great chemistry lessons for those of us who aren’t well-versed in the inner workings of batteries. Give it a look.
