New fan Dave Habel from Vero Beach, Fla., got his start from both.

Several years ago, Dave bought a truck with a new Interstate Mega-Tron^® 85-month battery, and moved south to the beach. When the battery died, he checked the truck’s charging system and also checked for an abnormal current draw. Both checked out normal. So, Dave reached out to Interstate.

After he called the number on the top of the battery, Interstate Batteries gave him a few different numbers for Interstate Dealers nearby.

“I called the first number given and was connected to Billy’s Auto Service in Vero Beach. They told me I could drop the battery off as I already had it out of the truck,” Dave wrote.

Just 30 minutes after dropping off the battery, Dave got a call back from co-owner Mark Henderson: The battery had died, and it was time for a new one. Mark brought out a brand new battery and carried it to the back of Dave’s car.

“That has to be one of my best automotive shop experiences I have ever had,” Dave wrote, adding that Mark treated him like he spent a thousand dollars. “I used to be a [competitor's] man!”
