A promising day for Team Interstate ended with middle-of-the-road finishes Sunday, March 22, on the Auto Club Speedway — where the No. 18 Interstate Batteries Toyota Camry finished 18th after starting in 4th.

David Ragan took the Interstate Camry to 3rd place but spun out and fell about two laps behind the leaders. He was able to work his way back for a top-20 finish.

Carl Edwards, starting from 15th, fought to hold his position throughout the race and finished 13th, while the rest of Team Interstate suffered from a pit road penalty and a broken rear axle.

Brad Keselowski won the race, his first of the season.
