Dave uses his machine to show how water is pumped from the earth at threshing shows and country fairs in the Edina area.
“Most people, especially the young, have no idea where their food and water comes from,” Dave wrote in a letter to Interstate.
The Aermotor Company, which is still alive and well today, has been manufacturing windmills since 1888 and stands alone as the only windmill manufacturer in the U.S.
